Wild about Capstone is now a confirmed event. We will have an area of the field allocated to us for flying, and will be able to park on the field. The event is running from 11am. I am currently trying to establish what time we will be able to access the site from. We will also have our gazebo adjacent to our flying field, from which we will be able to sell kites.

Attached is a site plan showing the allocated kite flying area. I suspect our access will be via the area shown as staff and overflow parking, as it has been in previous years.  |

The event will run from 11am to 3pm. We should be able to access the site from about 9.30. We can park in the kite area, but there will be no vehicle movements allowed after 10.30am until the event finishes. Those wishing to park on site, please let me have vehicle registrations so that I can pass these on to the stewards. The event is not expected to be as large as previous years, and the focus is on countryside activities and sustainability. We will be selling kites to the public from our gazebo, so any help in setting up and taking down would be gratefully received. The club will be able to contribute towards travel costs for members attending.

If we come we will have to park in the public car park as it may be difficult staying from 9.30 until close of play so to speak.
