Following Mike's original suggestion, I believe the plan is to fly at Walmer, adjacent to the borrow pit car park. It will also give us the chance to check out the small carpark and general parking for an evening fly for LUTS. So weather permitting, I plan to be there around midday.

Apologies, I think I meant October. Days just flow into each other!

It was bright and cheerful when I got up in Maidstone. It is now dark and raining hard. I will delay my decision on whether to drive to Walmer until later.

My trusty bit of seaweed suggests it is going to be rainy in Walmer until about 3pm, then the clouds might break a bit. I don't think it is worth the drive, so I'm going to hibernate.

Awoke this morning to blustery winds and torrential rain and although its not so hard now it is still persistantly precipitating! With news from Janet that a storm is imminent at Walmer we have decided to hibernate as well. Hopefully the weather will be kinder next week when we can meet at Radnor Park, Folkestone. Mike
