As discussed previously, Fly-in at Tonbridge thie week. Last time we flew there it turned a little damp and we ended up chatting in the drizzle. My weather app is predicting similar conditions at the moment although there is time yet for it to improve. Winds 8 - 11 mph with 12% chance of light rain from 15.00. Hope to see you all there Mike PS. Thinking of going back to Palm Bay next week (13th) then perhaps Walmer the following week (20th) which would give the lighthouse leprechaun a chance to fly with us once again. Any comments? feel free to shoot my ideas down but only if you have a better suggestion.

For the next two weeks I have commitments on Sunday which mean I can't set off until 1pm so I need to fly reasonably locally. For the above reason I will be flying at Palm Bay for the next two weeks. I would be happy to fly with any club members who want to come and join me. I'm happy to travel to Walmer to fly in three weeks time so that Lighthouseleprechaun, Barry and Janet can join us. Busy, busy Peter

The lighthouse leprechaun hasn't been to the lighthouse for 7 months, hasn't been a leprechaun for 12 months, and hasn't flown a kite since the weekend after the AGM, when I went down on my own to try out my new acquisition but it was too windy to be safe!
That unnerved me a bit, so looking forward to seeing you all on 20th.

On what looks like a lovely day for a fly we wont, sadly, be joining you. I had to use my Tens machine last night as my back is bad again.

A good afternoon flying. Mike, Barbara, James, Heather, Bill and Jen joined me on the park to fly some kites. The park was busy with football matches, and the rugby club also had an event, so parking around midday was tricky. But the sun had come out to welcome us and for most of the afternoon there was a fresh breeze. A thoroughly enjoyable time.

Had a good afternoon with Gareth and crew at Tonbridge today. Nice friendly wind that died away on occasions but was generally ok. Managed to fly a number of different kites and had a thoroughly delightful afternoon. Many thanks to all who attended, it was good to see you all. See all who can make it at Palm Bay next week. Mike
