As Peter says it turned into a good afternoon after a not quite so brilliant start. We wrrived in rain, light but wet, and elft in brilliant sunshine. The wind was tricy at times with huge holes and quite a few gusts. However it steadied down as the afternoon progressed and in the end wasn't to bad. We were treated to a flying display by the local spitfire that overflew us three times during the afternoon as it toured the White Cliffs. It was good to see Malcolm looking so well and with a kite line in hand along with Debbie who seemed to be enjoying the fresh air. Many thanks to all who came along and enjoyed the day.
Tonbridge next week, hope some of you can make it there.

Had e very enjoyable day at Sumners. Tricky wind, but no rain. Some good interaction with the local children. Good to see some folks I've not seen for a while.
