It has been suggested that we fly at Woodchurch on Sunday 16th, there are a couple of members who would like to fly on grass again and we haven't been there for a while. Weather currently doesn't look to bad, I assume Football / Cricket won't get in the way. Mike

Not the best place to fly larger kites and the earliest I could get there would be 12.30 - 13.00. I'll make my mind up after my kite flying at Palm Bay on Thursday.

You don't always have to fly the larger kites Peter. You could always give some of your smaller sticked kites an airing for a change . Mike

Had a nice day flying at Palm Bay today and as so many turned up here last Sunday (9) it seems only fair to return the compliment. Weather permitting I hope to be at Woodchurch around 1.30pm. Maybe Walmer would be a compromise for next Sunday then Lighthouse Jan, Jacky and Ivan (who works from 4.30pm every day) can join us.

Not a lot of help Gareth but Walmer is currently grey with virtually no wind. If Woodchurch can muster more it would make the journey worthwhile.
Tony and Chris - a Happy Anniversary to you both, enjoy the day.

Well the 9 (I think it was 9) of us who did make the journey to Woodchurch were completely let down by the weather. Not only was there insufficient wind to make kite flying easy but two torrential downpours attempted to dampen spirits......and almost succeded. A good afternoon in the fresh(ish) air and a few attempts to put ktes in the air made the day worthwhile. Thanks to all who turned up. Mike
