I'll be flying kites at Palm Bay for anyone who cares to join me and fly in the east for a change.

Laura suggested the Lade, so that is where I plan to be.

My information shows it is going to be a bit blowy tomorrow afternoon at Lydd. 30kph and above. That's about 18mph.

Managed to fly at Teston yesterday. Wind was super and didn't get eaten by a tree. Too kaput today to venture out. One day I will make it again.
Hope you have all had a good fly. X

Another great day flying kites to please ourselves and entertain the public. I lost count how many people came up to thank us for entertaining them. Several asked if we would do it again next week. We can't make up our mind whether to fly at Walmer or Palm Bay but I'll let them know during the week. Jacky and Ivan were my usual partners in crime, thank you for your company.

A windy day at the Lade. The council have finally got round to painting the double yellow lines since our last visit, so we were parked about 200 yards from the carpark. Len, Laura, Simon and I kept kites in the sky for most of the afternoon, but at about 4pm we decided that the wind was just getting too strong and time to head for home. Early afternoon it was about 8mph gusting to 16. By the time we left it was 18 gusting to 25. Bunny club by Gareth Williams, on Flickr
