As no one responded regarding 22nd on Malcolm's thread here goes! Does any one have a preference for a site for the fly-in on 22April?
We've not been to Hythe yet this year or, as we're running a workshop there in July, The Recreation Ground, Whitstable Road, Faversham. Football is usually over by midday!

I suppose we have to await the return of the KKF away gang before any further debate on venue for 22nd April, whilst we should also be considering Sunday May 6th to keep two weeks ahead, with 28/29th April already booked for the Hop Farm

I think our suggestion was somewhere in East Kent for the 22nd as the following week is the hop farm. Margate somewhere was the one place that I remember being mentioned through the alcoholic haze.
Anything after that is too far away to even consider at the moment, sorry.

Hythe was mentioned,( South Road ? )near the swimming pool. There is a Boot fair on the Green this Sunday I believe.

Alcoholic haze must have cleared by now! Has anyone made a decision regarding a flying site for Sunday. I am confused as there are no less than 4 possible sites mentioned in this thread. Which one am I expected to turn up at this week? Mike

I hope that forecast is wrong (Metcheck insists it will be dry until 16.00 in the east of the county), I haven't been flying for two whole days, beginning to get withdrawal symptoms. Mike

As there seems to be a difference of opinion, I am going to post South road Hythe near the swimming pool. for this Sunday. Please check local weather forecasts, as it seems to be same as to-day changeable including heavy showers

Due to a pulled right shoulder flying is not possible today. Hope it will have improved for next weekend - cannot look skywards at the moment. Hope those of you who make it have a good fly. Barry
