Kent Kite Flyers have been invited to display at the Woodchurch Fete, on Saturday 6th July, no timings as yet. I raised the event with some members and the committee as it clashes with Brighton Festival weekend, and found there was a willingness to go along and support the fete. Especially as we use the Green for flying. Awaiting details and timings. So is you are coming along to support this event please make a note in your diaries.

The actual Fete is 12-3pm, I will be there for about 10.30/11am, so we can start flying earlier to give us a bit more time. I have requested that we need a minimum room of a full size football pitch, and we cannot dceide in which direction we are flying until the day and the wind. We shall be flying on the far side entrance by Front(Font) Road and I have requested parking on field for KKF. So it is the road running along the side of the Green opposite the car park. I normally try to not take on attending fetes wher possible due to most have a short window of time namely 3 hours, which s hatrdly worth us getting out of bed.BUT as we use Woodchurch Green and after finding out initially if any members would come along, I dceided to support this time, as previously posted. |

I have recieved CAA height notam for 1000ft, from 10am to 4pm, so as we can have a little fly before and after the fete.
