Hi all, I though Id give a review of the new Andreas line grip/crocodile grip, I used it on sunday while flying locally and would thoroughly recommend one to members, I was able to attach line laundry much easier than ever before,I had it attached round my waist with a simple strap and caribiner and once locked on the line I was able to simple walk back a few steps it gave me two spares hands to attach items on the now slack line. This can sometimes can be hard to get some slack on when the kite is airborne and pulling hard. I not involved in any way with sales of this product,I got mine from aliexpress klaxian kites but they are also availiable from tug.com. I just wish it had been availiable a long time ago anyway just my two sense on this new product.
Thanks Simon

I used one once that belonged to Andrew Beattie - I clipped it on the line, there was a gust of wind and it fell apart 😂

Andrew Beattie has a great video of him and Andreas wrangling down a maxi ray in a good wind at Dieppe last year using a pair of these. I can understand the attraction, particularly when managing large kites, but whilst my pulley won't lock onto the line and therefore allow me to release tension to handle laundry,mi think I'll save my pennies for now.
Of course, if anyone wants to buy me one as a birthday present, I wouldn't object. 😊

Hi Gareth, The ones in the video with Andrew Beattie are just standard rope pulleys, not the line grip as in the disscussion.
