The current forecast looks acceptable. Anyone want to risk it? If so, may I suggest The Lade as a venue.

Could do (The wind looks good at 18 - 20 kph with sunshine @ 2 - 4°c) but it'll mean I can't get there until 1 ish. Also, wouldn't want to travel all that way without seeing others that would benefit from a more westerly location.

Well from all the reaction it looks like it is just you and me Peter, so I'm willing to go wherever you would prefer.

Well mud will be on any grass area so shingle seems to be the best answer. That seems to take us to the Lade (I can't be there before 1.30) or we go and entertain the walkers at Walmer again (I can get there for around 12.00). Forcast for Walmer is westerly 10 - 12 mph (off shore), 4 - 5°c, sunshine and the forecast for the Lade is westerly (off shore) 9 mph, 4°c, sunshine.....I'll leave the choice to you. FYI I can't make the 10th, can make the 17th, can't make the 24th.

Walmer it is then as it doesn't seem worth it if we only get there at 1pm.

Brilliant sunny day here, cold but with what, from our garden, appears to be a light wind. Could be deceptive though and blowing more strongly on the beach.
