I have sent an e-mail to the event organiser, in regard to Sunday, stating concerns sbout the weather, I do not expect any comments from them until sometime Friday, as they will be waiting for the very latest weather forecast, I will update on any news from them, whilst also monitoring weather forecast. The forecast not only seems to change from day to day, but almost hourly, obviously it is unpredictable at this time

Whatever the organisers decide it is up to individuals whether they decide to attend/fly. I'll be making my decision when I look out of the window on Sunday morning.

having been in contact with Midway Council, they are monitoring the weather as well. The forecast has changed at least 4 times since last Saturday. It is the rain will be the deciding factor, and they understand the situation in regard to kite flyers. I have given the main contact my mobile phone.number, so hope for some decision by latest Saturday afternoon. Will update

typical English weather, here now the wind has dropped and the sun is out, shame it was not like this earlier and the event could have taken place.

With the amount of water around it would not have been much fun....
