Yes I have read it - but only just.
Barry & I went to Dungeness birdwatching mid week about a month ago and the Lade car park and that side of the road was occupied by kite surfers vehicles. They were still there on our return about four hours later which made us wonder if they were just taking a chance or whether road side parking is allowed.
We haven't been that way since so no further update, sorry.

Steve P & I have discussed this at length. On the landward side there are seasonal double yellow lines, no parking at any time between 1st April - 30th Sept. However on the seaward side of the road there are no parking restrictions that we can find. there is a solid white line indicating the edge of the road but nothing that would indicate any parking restriction (there are posts but no signage). There are double yellows opposite Hull rd (to the north of The Lade)but they stop before you get to the bus stop. Then double yellows immediately by the car park (I suspect because of the turning oposite) they stop just beyond the car park in both directions. This really makes a mockery of the council's decision to apply parking charges to the car park, unless parking restrictions on the road are in the pipeline. Mike
