One Sky One World, a venue was discussed at the AGM, but no decision was made by members, As we seem to have to been flying a lot away from the west of Kent during the last three months, may I suggest we go to Tonbridge for OSOW, not that there was a lot of interest from the public last year. Your comments would be appreciated

As no other suggestions for One Sky One World (OSOW), it will be held at Tonbridge Park( aka Old racecourse) meeting in front of the children's play area.
For newer members OSOW is where kite flyers all over the world fly as many kites as possible, including the public in the event ( KKF have loan kites which I will bring along. This is support of World Peace, and was launched some years ago, and is on the same day throughout the world) Gathering from around 11am. Free car parking in the past on Sundays

Bringing this to the top. The weather forecast is for light rain at times although it seems to be brightening up in the afternoon. Please keep a check on the thread for any further updates

Wish I could join you all, but please tangle a few strings for me and hopefully my virtual kite in my mind will be flying there too. Unless a magic fairy waves a magic wand and can attend. x

Just found a Tonbridge event page and Facebook and their administrator has shared the event Stephen, Thanks for that, as the weather forecast at the moment is 30 percent or more of light showers/rain for most of the day, I tnink you should advise the administrator that it is provisio of the weather conditions, as well as putting something similar on our facebook page. Decision will not be made until Sunday morning around 9.30, but as I live in Margate on the other side of the county it could be different weather from Tonbridge

Cannot believe that to-day the temperature in Thanet at 12.30 is 23.5c and rising, and Sunday the weather forecast is heavy rain for most of the day, so looking like a trip to Tonbridge for OSOW will not be happening. Just hope the weather front veers sharply northwards before Sunday morning, and will see what the weather is like in the morning before deciding.
