I know it is a couple of weeks ahead, but looking for suggestions, especially if it involves wishing to use Milton Creek Country Park or Capstone Park ( the latter for which I have to make arrangements at least a week in advance).

Not sure I'll be around anyway, but if I am I would prefer Milton Creek Gareth, Thanks for your early reply, as this stage I am looking for replies. As you have a key to the lock and ff you are not around for 22nd, then we are relying on Kristian being available to open gate and lock up afterwards

Unless someone else wants to take the key.

Kristian is in annual leave until 24th July. If you wish to go to Capstone, I will contact the Parks manager. As I have a grandson's 2nd birthday party, which I have to attend, I will not be flying on 22nd; so if we I can arrange Capstone, then some-one will hev to be nominated to collect the toilet block key form SKI Centre reception and return it at the end of the day. Or any other suggestions especially as Simon(solarbake) posted suggestion of either Capstone or Milton Creek, which is accessible to him.

As we have recently flown at Woodchurch and have not flown at Milton Creek or Capstone my vote goes to either of the latter. I won't be able to get there until after 12 so cannot take the key. With key problems in mind I would suggest Capstone Park.

I have made contact with Medway Council in regard to using Capstone Park for next Sunday, as it suits Simon ( solarbake) better than most of our venues, who orginally made the suggestion.

Cannot commit to this one as we will be busy, but if all works out well we will try to get to Capstone. Don't be surprised if we don't make it though. Mike

Mike Do not worry Capstone has been ruled out by the park management team, not part of Medway Council, they require us to make a booking at least 6 weeks in advance and to pay a fee, but dog walkers are obviously exempt. I sent a strongly worded e-mail back in response stating how disappoint KKF is with the demands placed upon us. Unless there is agreement in advance we will not be able to park anywhere closer than the car park nor use the key to the toilet block. As far as I am concerned they ae welcome to the dogs, walkers and poo. I have stated unless our requirements are allowed, we will not using Capstone Park for fly-ins. If some members wish to use it from time to time, it will not be a sanctioned club meeting and you should be sure you have your own persoanl insurance.

As Capstone and Milton Creek are ruled out for this coming Sunday, may I suggest we take forward Woodchurch, unless members have any other suggestions. I will not be able to interfere with any flying as I am at a grandson's 2nd birthday party

Very disappointing re: Capstone. Especially as it was their suggestion that we went there more often in the first place! Bloomin politics! Well I have never flown well there, so as far as I can see it's their loss. If Barbara and I find ourselves available Woodchurch is closer to us so makes it more likely that we may be there. Mike

Mike That is what happens when you put it out for tender to be run by an outside organisation, bureaucracy doubles. I have been quite firm about the conditions for KKF to use Capstone, and until such time as they come back Capstone is out. At least being at Woodchurch makes it easier for you to attend
