A lovely few hours of flying, Peter arrived at around 11.30, I arrived around 1pm, Peter was already flying his Manta Ray, I flew my new large Delta with Celtic Knot design, purchased at Bridlington in Mid May and we were joined by Stephen P. The wind was steady until about 3.45pm, when it completely dropped away, although Stephen did fly a Genki, and there was a shared flying with Peter of my "Grace" no wind kite. A number of the public stopped to talk and take photos.
Peter flew his large Delta with the South African flag design, in memory of a South African friend who had unexpected passed away last week
We started to pack away around 5pm as there was no sign of any significant wind, but a very pleasant couple of hours

Glad you managed some flying....
I got caught in a load of traffic and gave up as time was getting on,,,,
Looks like Sunday will be the better day at Brighton for wind.

From the weather forecasts provided by both Gerty and Simon, it does appear to be set fair for excellent weather at Brighton Kite Festival
