sacrificing lots of men on two wheels. Are we burning them or cutting out their hearts and drinking their blood? I'm up for a bit of ritual sacrifice as long as I am not the intended target.

I don't think we'll be sacrificing many teddies either with only 5mph winds forecast.......

Interesting, Metcheck has the wind at 15.00 5mph gusting 4mph, I guess there will be some negative gusts around then. We didnt have much more the other week at Ramsgate and managed to bung bears Looking forward to another meeting of the Kent Kite Picnikers Mike

We can only hope for some decent wind, as always for kite flying this year, it seems mainly one extreme to the other with weather and wind. I will be bringing my gazebo as at Ramsgate, for a bit of shade

My thansk to all members who attended the above event, on a very hot and mostly becalmed day, although Gareth,Peter, flew kites even in the very light wind. Special thanks to Bill, for perserving in eventually getting the lifter kite flying with enough pressure to raise the TBP rig. We managed about two and half hours of TBP.before the wind went completely and then doing a complete 360deg turn, but by then the festival attendance was "dead" due to the World Cup Final and the men's singles final at Wimbledon, so there was no point in moving the rig.
Thansk again for all your efforts, I know that the children enjoyed it and there were a lot compliments, by parents, paid to KKF for the TBP.
