KKF and especially Bill, will be undertaking Teddy Bear Parachuting at the above event. Do not having timings at moment, but looking for members who may be able to assist on the day.
The club has been invited in the past to the Teddy Bear's Picnic, held in King George VI Park Ramsgate. This is a charity event raising funds for Appeal4Alfie, and provides funds to support children suffering from neuroblastoma ( a form of brain tumour) and their familes. It was set up by the parents of Alfie Gough, who sadly died some years.
The event has not been for about two years, but has returned this year. Although there is vehicle access into the park to drop off equipment, parking is only on local roads.
We are only undertaking Teddy Bear Parachuting as there is not enough room for kite flying, with the other parts of the day going on. The Teddy Bear rig is going all day, but we do arrange for the team to undertake a lunch break. There is an open air tea hut in the park.
Hope some members will come along and support and enjoy the park and also the sea air as the park is on the cliff top between Ramsgate and Broadstairs.

Put me down as a Maybe. spose every one else will be at Brighton. Len. [/quote Len, Thanks for the reply, I know it will depend on personal cirumstances at home. I am hoping to go Brighton Sunday, Bill says he will probably also go then. If Bazjan are feeling fit enough, I will also take them to Brighton. It all depends on my hamstring problems being resolved.

Should we set up Camp next to the 1st Aid Tent at Brighton. I think it should be in the first aid tent, if we all get there.

What Time do you want us there???. WE have to be set up by 11.30am, the event is from 12noon until 5pm. The only cars that will be able to park on the field, are belonging to Bill and if they come along Bazjan. All other vehicles will have to park on side roads.
