Does anyone know if there's a problem at kiteworld in Clacton? I ordered an item from them a few days ago, no email confirmation, their website offers no facilitie to check your order, NEVER answer the phone and haven't responded to a concerned email. The money I paid has been taken from my account. I thought kiteworld.co.uk was a reliable reputable shop. Does anyone know of any reason they are quiet?

Niles,
This is very unusual for Kiteworld, as KKF has worked with them for numerous years and never had a problem. I have sent an e-mail to the owner for an explanation( it may well be that he is on holiday and some-one is covering for him).
Hope this all resolves itself shortly

No problem. I bought 15" extended handles for my Rev, they just got delivered. Happy with the product but I was concerned that there was no news on anything.

Niles,
I have received a reply, explanation and apology from Kiteworld in regard to the not being able to contact them.
They checked the website and it is fully functioning. When you placed the order which I believe was late on Saturday, the monies are taken there and then. The order should have been shipped on Monday, but was delayed due to the amount of business conducted over the last few days, and the owner being away. The order was shipped on Tuesday and glad to note you received it yesterday.
You should have recieved notification that the order was on its way, I normally get one as well from Royal Mail as it is a tracked parcel. Kiteworld apologise as you appear not to have received any notification. The owner is investigating in regard to no replies to e-mails sent. It would appear the phone line was very busy, as well as some problems with the line.
Kiteworld would like to offer apologies for any inconvenience caused to you, and would thank you for bringing the problem about communication to their attention, so as they are now able to deal with the matter to check if it has caused by any of their communication links at their end.
