Hi, I have an old HQ Transmontana and would love to have it completely re-spared .. Does anyone know of a kite repair shop ? The kite is a classic and I believe should be kept flying . Kind Regards Phil

Does it really need completely re-framing? It will be quite expensive even if you do it yourself as carbon fibre costs have escalated a lot.
It is something you should be able to do yourself. You will need some carbon fibre tube. Check what diameter tube the kite has, then buy appropriate lengths. You don't necessarily need to put a join in the leading edges. A single length will do. Any fittings that are glued on can usually be released with a hair drier. If that doesn't work, replacement fittings are available from a number of suppliers. PM me for details of the one I use. the unglued fittings will usually move easier with a little smear of washing up liquid on the carbon.
