2 & 3rd of June to celebrate the Queens Jubilee. We have a request to fly on saturday & sunday, but sunday clashes with Tonbridge. So can I have your thoughts on supporting this event in some way.
Many thanks syd

Are we just guests at Tonbridge or doing Teddy dropping/Kite workshops?. If just guests then we could go to Woodchurch on the Saturday, its an oportunity that we should support.

Agree with Len. WHilst Tonbridge is closer for me, Woodchurch tends to get better wind as I recall.
I'll leave it to others to decide

We will both be happy to support Woodchurch, much closer to us than Tonbridge.

From Club Calendar:- "To be held as usual in Tonbridge Park, I have already asked about car passes for those wishing to attend. Hope we are able to support Andy and Angel in their efforts For those who have not been before it is just a fly- in more formally organised, no demonstrations, but where the organiser have made formal agreements with Tonbridge Council about the use of the park for Kite flying." Tonbidge is a fly-in type of event. It is put together by Andy and Angela McNair. KKF have been the major supporter of this event for a number of years. It is good to spread the word about KKF in the west of the county, as we seem to be concentrated for events to which we are invited, in an area bounded by Folkestone, Ashford,Maidstone, Medway and all areas towards the cost. As we have members from Tunbridge Wells and East Sussex it would be good to support Tonbridge.
Personally I believe that KKF should be able to support both events, namely Woodchurch on Saturday and Tonbridge on Sunday.
I know that for some members in these hard economic times it is a cost consideration, but hope that we are able to support both events.

Well said Malcolm and I hope this is what we will do.
