Two new members joined Kent Kite Flyers this weekend.
Simon Pointer who is based in Sittingbourne
Conrad Brachet-Smith who is based in Edenbridge
which reminded me that I have been amiss of not mentioning two ladies who signed up at Walmer this year Joanna Grimes Carol Buttifint daughter and mother both based in Dover
Please make them welcome when they come along to any events or fly-ins.

Hi Joe, Welcome to our friendly bunch. We don't often get over to Camber these days, parking is horribly expensive. Probably the nearest we get to you on a regular basis is either Hythe or Greatstone (Actually its Lydd on Sea, but that's another story). Prism are quality kites, and you should get some good mileage out of the quantum. Unfortunately, sports kite flying seems to be diminishing a bit these days, but I have a bag full of the things that I occasionally play with. Just bear in mind not to annoy the locals when out flying, nothing gets kite flying banned quicker Camber at low tide is a great place to fly, but in the summer months it gets too crowded Feel free to come and join us at any time. Keep an eye on the "next fly in" thread, we normally choose somewhere to fly about mid-week, and there are usually folks out flying most Sundays somewhere, though I can't guarantee it will be anywhere near enough for you to get to. Best wishes Gareth

Hi Joe and welcome. We also have a Face Book page, and on it are photos of Kites that we are Selling for Club Funds, feel free to have a look and to bid on any that take your fancy. Some of the Auctions have finished but any un sold kites are still available to purchase. Some Auctions are yet to start.
Len, Auctioneer.

Thank you. Can t seem to find a joining form. Or who to pay money to. Don t mind travelling an hour to hook up. After all you lot have the experience with kite and I haven't got a clue. Trying to fly this week on the cliffs of fairlight was hard on my own. Wind was very strong. Would it be helpful for me to attend the AGM in March.
