Suggested by Peter Hulcoop at Mote Park somewhere in the Ashford area for a fly in on 5th Feb. Either Singleton or Woodchurch or open to other suggestions. Mike

How about we look at the site in Sandyhurst Lane you and Bill where discussing at Rough Common? Or we've not been to Hythe for a while the Green should be clear.

Steve Len is waiting for a response re: Woodchurch and will post here as and when he knows. I emailed contact details for the Sandyhurst Road site to Bill who was going to follow it up - I assume he has and is waiting for a response. Janet & Barry have scoped this site out in the past and agree that it would be more than suitable if the correct permissions were in place. Will wait till Friday when I think we will have to make our minds up where to meet up. Mike

We have been given the go ahead to fly at Woodchurch on Sunday. I have never flown in the snow before!.
See you there.

Sounds good to me I may be a bit latter than normal as I have to deliver an African drum to Canterbury before I can come down.

As the temperature is forecast to be even lower that last Sunday's, which brought on an Angina attack, we will not be coming out to fly in the snow this weekend. Barry

Digging my drive out and then Hibernating today Im afraid. Might have to go for a stroll to look at all the white stuff. Woodchurch is out of the question for us given the current conditions.

About 8" in Ashford, my cats only have7" legs!. As the road to Woodchurch is country lanes from Ashford it would be a bit daft to even set out, so I am not. Its a shame after getting permission.

Here in Beckley which is 14 miles from Woodchurch, we have 6 inches of snow, looks very pretty, have walked across the fields to Northiam to get a paper, but none available, how annoying. No chance of us making it today
