Just putting this out there early. I've emailed the Esat Anglian flyers to make sure it is going ahead if the weather is OK. assuming it is, it will be the usual place, just beside the Esplanade in Frinton-on-Sea from about 11 am.

I've heard back from Jonathan. This will go ahead unless there is bad weather forecast. If they cancel, he has promised to let me know.

I have decided to give it a miss this year. Have things to catch up on which are outstanding from before going to Dieppe. Have a good day.

Didn't make it as I had a little too much to drink at a friend's bbq (a very wet bbq)...
Hope you all managed to get back ok with the QE2 Bridge closed?

No problems with the travelling but the wind was decidedly tricky.

Had a great time at the Bread Pudding fly in at Frinton on Sea, so much so that we didn't really want to leave. The wind was very disturbed all day boiling over the buildings on its way to the sea, however it settled down after 5.30 and we were flying until gone 6, long after everyone else had gone home, in a beautiful smooth breeze. We were pounced on by Danny Sloggett who was filming for his Youtube Vlog and seemed completely taken by the Tiger that Barbara and I were flying. True to his word he published the resulting video on Youtube last night. If you are interested it can be found HEREMike

so big thanks to gareth, len, mike and Barbara for supporting the bread pudding fly in ! with the wind in the north it was lumpy all day but we still managed a great display greatly appreciated by the frinton folk, highlight for me was the flotail display which reminded us of martin and mikes tiger .lets hope we can keep this great day going.pete.

As long as you are willing to organise it, and the weather stays acceptable, we'll keep coming back for more. Love the place.

Great to see all the Kent Flyers again at Martin Corries Memorial fly last weekend. Weather and company was wonderful, shame that the wind was a bit lumpy. However we got some great kites in the sky, I have put some photos of the day on our gallery page. Certainly we will be doing it again next year, look forward to seeing you all then if not before .
