Interesting event, it just reminds kiting enthusiaists who are members of kite clubs like ours, to wander over to any member of the public who is causing concerns and a have a little chat, the majority of kiting public have not flown kites for a long time and will take heed of any advice gently given. Not like those who fly drones who believe they own the airspace.

BBC report says "...the man, who was told the flying limit was 240 feet (73m)." ?? Looks like the Police and BBC need to check the law!!
