For those of you not able to attend Berck this year, and for those of us who will not be there until midweek. To whet the appetites, here's a new webcam showing the beach as seen from the rescue post (on top of the now defunct Bar de Bains). Its a bit cleaner than the Agora webcam! www.opalesud.com/webcams/poste.phpAnd there's lots of activity at the moment - arenas being set up...

The lens was a bit wet, let's hope that the bad weather gets out of the way this week.

Nice blue sky now, good breeze and the camera has been moved to point at the main arena. Looking good for the weekend!

Lovely day here in Berck today. Cloudy to start with but then sunny for most of the afternoon though only light winds challenged everyone. I don't think I've ever seen the town so busy mid week. It was more like a sunny Easter weekend than a working day. Hoping the weather stays fair so we get a chance to fly tomorrow.

Hope you have the fair weather we have here at the moment although rain forecasted for later. It is a pity that the webcam is focussed only on the arena rather than moving to take in the general flying. Arena area does not seem to be too busy with spectators at the moment, but I suppose most will visitors will come out after lunch.
Bon appetite mes amis
Au revoir

Looks like a nice day out there is Berck, just hope our rain and chill temperature does not export to Berck. No sign of our intrepid travellers as yet on the webcam.

Just been looking at webcam, no sign of KKF members, probably partaking of refreshment somewhere. Sue

Just been looking at webcam, no sign of KKF members, probably partaking of refreshment somewhere. Sue I could not see KKF crew a few moments ago so you are probably correct Sue, they have retired to refresh their bodies after a hard day at the beach. Looks like the clouds are gathering over the sea, Hope our weather misses Berck and sun comes back out
