There does not seem to be much activity in regard to this Sunday, I can only suggest that members keep an eye on this topic especially before 10am on Sunday and if any-one is going flying please post where and other members may wish to join in.

Apparently there is wind at Tonbridge and peeps are flying! I'll wander down later at abt 1.00pm. That'll clear the field!!!

As i drove down Tonbridge high street my boy noticed a kite in the sky over the park, so i headed down to see who was hanging on the other end to find Heather, and a Rev pilot flying in light winds. I managed to fly 2 kites briefly before the wind gave up. Still at least the effort was made! Ill keep my eyes peeled in case you get lost again and i will join you for a fly.

Not a bad afternoon...
When I arrived there was little wind and even a roller was too much effort to keep in the air.
However, the wind picked up and I managed to launch my usually unruly T-delta which flew beautifully and our newer members flew their mega delta with some success.
Bonefish turned up and gave the others a few tips on flying revs etc. and then launched a recent aquisition, a small Cody which just about flew, and was extremely steady.
The wind died down and Bonefish tried to launch another kite he had acquired at Portsmouth (as seen in the photo) but without success.
Despite the miserable start to the day we did see some blue sky and the sun was setting as we left. It wasn't too cold either!
We all agreed however, that Tonbridge park is about as perfect flying site as could be, even in the Winter. We are lucky to have it on our doorstep :-)
