I assume that every one will be busy on Sunday this week so am suggesting a New Years Day fly-in well in advance. How about Radnor Park Folkestone
Ok so I know its my local site but it ticks all the boxes.

Would love to fly this weekend but know that I am probably the only sado! I'm away New Year w/e and possibly the w/e after that so I'll take this opportunity to thank you all for your friendship and support over the last year, to wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year and fair winds for 2012.

Happy Christmas and new year to you too Peter, and to all my kiting friends.
I'd like to fly on the new year weekend. given that January/February are going to see me spending a lot of time away, I will probably be confined to barracks when I am at home, so I'm unlikely to get out too often. I'm already getting withdrawal symptoms as it must be over a month since I last ventured out. I need to blow some cobwebs away.

knock. knock!
Anyone awake in here?
So any decision on where we are flying this weekend then? And is it Sunday or Monday. Personally I'd prefer Monday, but I'm strange like that.

Sunday or Monday is fine with me, you could hold an online Poll, I tried to do one once but could not get it to work. Len.

Was not sure what 5the weather was going to be. From what I saw it was possibly windy with some chance of showers. I have voted for Sunday with venue Radnor Park, as I can make that for a few hours, in between family commitments.
It may be a late decision going into Saturday afternoon before anything is agreed.

As you will observe from the poll at 16.40 on New Year's Eve there is no firm favourite for either New Years Day or Monday, so as it is normally down to myself to make a decision, I am going to state Radnor Park Sunday 1st January from 11am. The weather forecast shows a chance of light rain, but reasonable to strong winds.
Please keep an eye on the forum should there be a late change in the morning. This does not preclude members from flying on Monday as well, but please say where and when the venue will be
