Hi Tim, Welcome to our forum. Great to have another Prism fan here, I get very lonely sometimes. I have a number of Prism kites, mainly old school stuff, but a couple of more up to date ones, including a Quantum Pro with the adjustable weight system.
Do you travel at all? We have several members in your part of the world, some flying at Palm Bay or on The Esplanade near St. Mildred's Bay. If you're willing to travel further afield in Kent, you can normally find us flying somewhere, keep an eye on the "Next Fly-In topic to find out where.
Don't forget Herne Bay Kite Festival in a couple of weeks time. Unfortunately I can't get there this year.

Hi Tim
Welcome to our forum, Gareth has mentioned Herne Bay Kite Day on 28th June, which will be held in the Memorial Park Kings Road Herne Bay, if you wish to come along and meet us you will need a car pass to be able to park. Unfortunately, there is not much room to fly two line kites, most festivals are predominately static display kites, which will be the case at Herne Bay. Normally when we fly as a club most Sundays there is room for two/four line flying. We have 4 members based throughout Thanet, often flying either individually or together mainly on clifftops at Palm Bay.
If you wish to join Kent Kite Flyers, as a member you would be covered by club insurance when flying at a club event, and there is access to individual insurance at additional cost which covers the flyer when out on their own whether in the UK or abroard.
If you are interested I am able to send you more details.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your comments, if are coming along to Herne Bay, public parking will be in the adjacent roads.
