Welcome back mate. Don't do revs any more, sold them. You should be looking at the Chinese variants now - much cheaper.

Of course we remember you!
As Gareth says the chinese revs are good these days.
There are still a few rev flyers in the club......

As Len pointed out I have a Rev 1.5 it is one of the first modified in design by John Barresi and built by Baz Coulter, Signed by Baz & comes with flame handles. Flown only 3 times. It cost £220 landed. If you are interested make a sensible offer.

Thanks guys!! Ok sid, roughly how much do you want for it and I saw a nice one on ebay for 129. Also, as for the 'Chinese' ones, where can I go (online) to have a look. Another also....when and where is the next Sunday meeting?

On line, you could try Ebay, Steve, Len (and Heather?) all have chinese revs so could probably give you details. We've got a festival at Memorial Park, Herne Bay this coming Sunday

Niles,
Please note that our weekly meetings are posted under Fly-ins on this forum, hope this may mean you would like to become a full member of Kent Kite Flyers in due course.

I'm working tomorrow morning so I'll do what I can to get to hearn bay tomorrow early afternoon to say hi and hopefully someone can let me have fly of a 'rev'. I've flown many and for those who don't know me, many years ago, I was kkf event manager, we did a real good show and display at a celebration of 'flight' at RAF Henson museum. Old member 'skunky' and I wing tip stood on a spitfire. Lol. Had to give up the kkf because I used to work every Sunday. Now I'm self employed, so I can come along but didn't know the fly in was this (tomorrow) Sunday. I'll do my best to get there!

Nils,
the Herne Bay events is the inaugural kite festival at Herne Bay, as you will be arriving late, parking will ahve to be on the side roads whereve you can find a space.
It is hoped that if it receives good feedback and additional funding can be found it may become a two day event next year.

We have relatives who live there so parking wont be a problem. So come on, own up, who's going to let me fly their rev? Or, who can sell me a Chinese rev? I'm going away on the 3rd week of July to our house in Hungary and I want to take a kite with me. I'm a bit worried if i buy one from China it won't turn up in time.
