Well it's come round again and I'm planning update and expand The Tankerton Kiter's flying site list and create a new interactive map. The current one runs a now outmoded technology (ie Flash - even Adobe have renamed the program!) and the south-east portion has become a little overcrowded to say the least. Sites I intend to add are the following: in the south-east; Sellinge, Walmer, South Foreland and Woodchurch (Brogdale is already there) plus I'm including a couple of sites in Hastings: Priory Road/Castle Hill and East Hill. For the rest of the country: Beachy Head, West Wittering, Stokes Bay (Gosport), Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, Rougham, Frinton-on-Sea and Dunstable Downs. I'll also include Gilwell Park, it's not a great flying site but is used regularly by KSPKT. Many of these sites I've either not been to at all or haven't been to for yonks and therefore would welcome any input from members and friends. Please use the 'contributions' link on the Flying Site page of www.thetankertonkiter.co.nr and fill in the Google form. Happy to include any sites not mentioned and also any further 'oop narth' in the listing but these probably won't get on the interactive map.

Website now updated fully and includes a page of my KAP blunderings! Still looking for more contributions and also any corrections of what's already there. Interestingly, I was flying a couple of single-liners on the so-called 'Finsborough Down' on St Mary's Island, Chatham the other day during my lunchbreak. I got photographed by Countryside Maritime's photographer so may get published somewhere, who knows? Rather small site though.

Oh, St Mary's Island is where I go to the Medway Makers Club, it is nearly all about Arduino Geeky stuff, well above my noddle. Len.

Hi Tim Just looked at this on the map the Le Quesne and Hythe green pins look to be transposed not sure if this is automatically generated or if you have have just labelled the wrong pins.

You're absolutely right Steve! My bad, will sort. No automatic generation in this site at all, so pure human error!
