Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend due to vacation.

Just a brief update. There will be a food stall on site, selling Jamaican vegan street food. The organisers will also be providing us with lunch, consisting of a sandwich, some crisps, biscuits and water

Hi I'm interested in bringing my grandchildren (7 and 9) to the event at Blackheath on Sunday but, with a forecast wind speed of 6mph, wondered how much flying is likely to happen, please? Cheers (Another) Tim

Hi Tim, Wind speed of 6mph means we should be able to get some kites in the air. It may restrict our choice to kites that can handle lighter breezes. Of course, for young children, they can run around with kites, so they won't have too much trouble.

Sandbags have been put out on the field in readiness I'm told. I plan to be there around 10ish.

Thank you to all who came along to Blackheath today. Despite the lack of wind and occasional drizzle, the organisers seemed happy the event was a success, so with luck it will happen again next year.
