Just throwing this one out there. The weather forecast for the Maidstone area looks particularly uncharitable for the next week. The Met Office have issued warnings of heavy rain from Thursday through Sunday, and the environment agency still have flood warnings in place for the Medway from Yalding through to Allington. Fortunately we are high enough above the river not to be affected by this.
If anyone fancies going out for a fly, and knows of somewhere that might be dry, then I'd be up for it. Otherwise I rather hope to see some of you on New Years Day somewhere.

The winds are looking unpleasant at all the usual sites. Like Gareth I'm happy to try if others are interested......anyone?

I'm sorry everyone but I won't be joining you today. Hopefully, if the weather gods are good to us I will be out to play on New Years Day, wherever it is decided to fly. In the meantime have a great Christmas Mike

Whilst it isn't raining right now, it is a bit damp underfoot, particularly in the areas around the Medway and Darenth rivers. I won't be going out, other than on foot with the dogs today. Hopefully catch up either next weekend or new years day when the water levels have subsided a bit.
