Don't think we'll be driving all that way to possibly get wet - will try and dodge the showers nearer home.

Lovely start to the day in Maidstone but no breeze. Will aim to be at the Lade between 12 and 1.

Well 4 of us went to the Lade and had a pleasant Fternoon in the sun flying kites in a very light breeze. I noticed this planning notice on a post by the carpark Closer examination shows that the new restrictions will apply from the car park to Williamson Road. So a distance of maybe 200 yards, which probably means we will fly a bit further south in future. A heavy drizzle arrived at about 4.30 so we packed up and came home.

A nice day with very light off shore winds. I managed to restore the weather by flying the new Emoji but then got told by Gareth that I took all the wind away again by trying to fly my Mantaray.....ah well. Good to fly with the 4 Musketeers, thank you Gareth, Simon and Trevor.

Had to come as soon as they started charging for the car park all year round!
