What looked initially like being a disaster weather wise turned into a great days flying in somewhat less than ideal conditions. A great turnout by club members that provoked some interest by the locals. Well done everyone, and welcome to the club Trevor. Malcolm was counting and no doubt will provide the total kites flown in due course. Mike

Well it was a good day at OSOW Woodchurch to-day. as Mike states it was well cupported. Wind during the earlier part of the day was lumpy varying in strengh. Gareth came along and was treated by Janet with cakes and Barbara with doughnuts, as were the rest of us. Good to meet Trevor P at long last who has become our latest member along with his wife.
When I left at 4.30 or just after the total was 41 kites and I understand we reached at least 42 just awaiting confirmation of same from those who were still flying. This included 3 kites being flown by the public.
Thanks to every one who attended and supported OSOw especially with weather forecasted varying from being rain all day through to dry with a showers and gusts of 30mph.
