I know its very East of the County and some Members would find it a Distance to travel to, BUT, I was there yesterday ( Sunday ) at the Model Boat Regatta and the Large Park was unused!, it has Toilets on site and parking the other side of the Hedge in the Road, free all day, Town and Aldi near by.

Obviously on my doorstep. I know it used be rather affected by tall trees but these are (sadly in some respects) gone now.

OK it is a good site, but as Len stated it is in East Kent, will not turn down any site which may be of use to the members flying. If I remember correctly there used to be coffee truck on there as well.
We are still looking for a good site in the weat of Kent and also to the north.
Come on members there must be somewhere you have flown, that could be suitable for club meet.

It is difficult to find one towards you. As we would all love to fly with you more frequently (and we are trying to accommodate you) where would you suggest for us come and fly Sue?

I am not expecting you to accomodate us ,I merely commented that we would not be travelling to that site.As you know we do not live close to any flying sites, closest place to fly for Steve is Camber, which he often uses.We do travel to the Lade,Tonbridge, and Woodchurch, and further afield for kkf events. Sue Sue perhaps you misunderstood my message or I did not put it very well. We all know you and Steve do your best to support all our evenets in Kent, and also come along to some of the venues for club fly-in. I was hoping that a member somewhere may know a site or uses one which would be better for you to come along and fly, then those already used, as it is always unfair on you and Bill to some extent where we have club fly-ins. Some of the venues are an hour plus away for different members for different venues. As to events, so far we have not raised any interest over in the west or south weat of Kent in having a kiting event or being part of a larger event.

Perhaps the weekend after Milton Creek could be The Lade or Woodchurch- both of which we "East Kenters" enjoy.
