As far as I know the upgrades to the toilets have not yet started but the Market inn on the corner of Park Road will be open as usual if necesarry you can buy a drink and use their facilities. goo.gl/maps/tFGrGDr7JYGVJLa78Or you could buy us a drink so we could use their facilities 😂 I'm told there is a band playing there from 2.30 so it would be even easier to slip in unnoticed!!!!

That was a good afternoon with Malcolm, Peter, Simon, Martin, Niles, Barry and Janet wind misbehaved a bit but toward the end of the day there was some good flying. Those attending the Church picnic appreciated the kites in the air and want me to thank the club for coming. {Mike and Barbara where there I just missed them firs time of typing}

It was a good afternoon, boh meeting up with fellow members, the weather and the flying kites. AS Steve said it was a strange wind, more like a Teston wind, one moment a good wind and then virtually nothing, wind direction not steady,especially late afternoon, where the kite I had in the sky, flew at times withing a differing degree of 180 degrees to the front and side of me, due to the wind direction.

Yes it was a good afternoon and yes Mike and Barbara were there. It was also good to see Peter Reeves for a few hours - we were almost on his doorstep.
Hope no-one got too sunburnt - there are some red knees in Walmer today.
Janet
