Walmers good for me,I thought we could fly at Milton Creek anytime,as we have a key etc, be good to see if anyone else can be contacted as Chris seems a bit wayward ,as it’s quite easy these days to reply by text or email no excuses i’m afraid just bad manners.

Great day flying. Good company, good weather and excellent wind conditions. We managed to put on quite a display with a couple of very nice new kites in the air.

If only we could have had that wind two weeks ago Kites on the Beach would have been wonderful. Arrived to fins loads of kites in the air. Gareth & Simon entertaining the crowds with two stacks of inflatables. Simon learning at the end of the day that if you fly everything you bring with you there is an awful lot to pack up and carry across the shingle back to the car (Manta, turbines, Astronaut, Fauchi & Penguin), however it was a great display! Gareth's ever changing feast of multi coloured kites started off with a Peter Lynn Trilobite ending with a pair of rabbits was greatly appreciated. In between we had Bazjan flying a multitude of different smaller kites and Janet mk2 who flew "everything I brought with me". Tommy the tiger made an appearance along with his new friend Lenny, they both flew beautifully all afternoon. We packed up around 6ish just as Niles appeared on the beach and we left him there flying a quadline kite. A wonderful afternoon with great company and a brilliant reception from the locals. Thanks to all who came along. Mike

What a great afternoon....
Yesterday was an opportunity for locals to visit a Wildlife Park without leaving the town. On the softer side there was the countryside with flowers and butterflies, followed by rabbits, penguin, and the newest acquisition - a ring tailed lemur. From the deep came manta rays, seahorse, trilobite and a squid. Finally the fierce tiger which was much admired and photographed.
We were also visited by an astronaut, and had a fly-past of Spitfire and Dakota.
With the good company, weather and interested passersby what more could we want.
Janet
PS If any creature has been omitted - my apologies.
