Just looked at some photos and there appears to be a Pylon nearby, I know some people are attracted to these !.

Great program Len.
Have never flown here but visited many times. Land area similar to South Foreland with superb sea views. Drawbacks are communication relay mast, properties nearby and, the worst one, being the main coast road from Broadstairs to Kingsgate which makes up one side of the perimeter. ( See picture 3)

South foreland is owned by national trust. It looks like north foreland may still be a working light and may still be owned by trinity house. Their attitude to flying may be different. But it may still be worth pursuing

Its only just round the corner from Palm Bay that has none of the negatives associated with the lighthouse! Mike

North Foreland Lighthouse,
as far as I understand it is no longer a working lighthouse, not sure if it is still in the hands of Trinity Lighthouse as reserve or whether it has been put tom other use.
There is absolutely no parking around it double yellow lines both sides of the road. It is set back from the coast road.
We already have two sites in Thanet suitable St.Mildreds aka Westbrook and Palm Bay.

I was thinking of KAPing it. Owned by Trinity House. Last Light House to be Automated. Catch the Prog via IPlayer, well worth it.
