Only if the New toys come out to play too! It's looking pretty cold (4-5°C around most of Kent), where do you suggest?

I will bring them with me. I can cope with the cold, I'll remember to bring a coat this time.
Where I normally walk the dogs is remarkably firm, given that it was very muddy over Christmas. It was quite similar to Palm Bay, which given the amount of 2 and 4 legged traffic is surprising. But I'm relaxed about where to fly. I can do Palm Bay again, or we can head south for winter, say Lydd on Sea or Walmer. Never know we might catch some illegals 😊

I can't leave Ramsgate until 11.30 so I'd get to lydd around 1 but I don't mind either. Maybe if we can get Simon out to play we could get the squadron up.

Would love to join you all. Depends on location though as Palm Bay a bit too far if its cold. Will bring cake if I'm there.

Hi guys and dolls, Happy new year to you all, sorry I missed last sunday what with new year’s eve events I was a bit wayward, I did check the forecast for Palmbay and it did look a bit breezy so decided against the long round trip and decided to fly locally with a couple of kites and had a pleasant 12-14 mph wind. Can’t make this Sunday as got another county badminton match against Surrey, but hope to catch up soon and will def. be at the indoor fly at the end of the month. Regards Simon.

I was thinking of the possibility that your new toys might sit on some of the brown stuff and ruin their shiny new look. Palm Bay is fine by me or, how about the shingle beach at Walmer? Off shore wind of 19 kph predicted and the pebbles are cleaner than the grass at Palm Bay......your choice Mr. President.

Walmer works. I suggest the car park near the castle as it is a flat walk onto the beach. I'll aim for about 12.

Walmer is fine with us, hope to see you all there. Will bring my new toy and hope the wind is better suited to it than on Tuesday.
Metcheck recons 2 degrees feeling like 0 with 6 - 11 mph slightly North of West winds (offshore) so wrap up warm as it's going to be a coldun.
Mike
