Some of us from West Kent are away in France for the Berck Kite Festival that weekend.
There are however, some of the KKF from elsewhere who like Tonbridge so you may be lucky!

Regards Simon. Will agree 22nd for Tonbridge, I will try to make it. Not sure how many of the regular flyers will come along as there are some members attending Berck as posted by Gerty, and others will have been at the Hanami Festival at Brogdale on the Saturday. The bad late winter weather has played havoc with arrangements for events and fly-ins.

Simon, as suggested a fly-in next Sunday, venue Tonbridge Park. As previous stated some members are in Berck or at the Jolly Up over the weekend, as well as those taking part in the Hanami Festivla on The Saturday. Does any one wish to join Simon on Sunday at Tonbridge.

After posting on forum and via e-mail, there have been do definite replies in regard to flying at Tonbridge Park on Sunday. In that case, I am not going to send out a general postings for Sunday to all members. I would suggest any-one interested in going along, should check this forum before setting out to find out if any-one else is coming along.
Never known a start to the flying season like it, with members hardly been able to have a fly in 2018.
Hopefully we should resume normality soon, as there have been so many cancellations, because of the weather or ground conditions, so let us hope we can commence on Sunday 29th April as has been posted venue Capstone Park.

I have some photos from Tonbridge from yesterday sun 22nd if you want to post them on facebook,Laura and myself and her friend Sam turned up about from 12pm to glorious winds from the sw 10-13mph we managed 10-11 kites up at one time .We had a lot of interested people and gave them info on the club and to look at our website.
Regards Simon.
ps. we were told yesterday that from today all the goalposts were being taken out so that’s gives us a better area to fly.
