Hopefully the weather will be better than it has been by end of April, so have found a free date at Brogdale for 6th May as previous posting. AGM commences at 12 noon, gathering from around 11am. Please let me know if you are still intend coming along to the new date. Hopefully with the new date and the fact we will be on British Summer Time, there will be more time for a fly for those who wish to do so.

Sue There does not seem to be much happening locally, the only thing on kitecalendar is MKF rendevouz days in Pembrokeshire. I do realise that members have lifes outside of KKF, but had to go for a date that I can make and available with Brogdale, which has no availability in April.

Just bringing this to the top again, as time is getting closer to the AGM, As mentioned need to know numbers or members and any-one else interested in coming along to just post that they are coming along so as to ensure that sufficient refreshments are provided. Remember this is the meeting where members make decisions on the running of the club and the way forward for another year. Can reply either below this posting or via p.m.

Just a reminder that your AGM will be held Sunday week 6th May at Brogdale Collections, Brogdale Road, Faversham, from 12 noon until approx 5pm which will include the formal part of proceedings , plus an auction, plus time for refreshments, buffet, and socialising. It will be held in the usual room behind the Brogdale Offices in the corner of the market square, there will be a sign on the door. the room is available from 11am for colleagues to start arriving. If you wish to donate anything preferably kite related to the auction, the please bring along on the day. If you are not able to attend, but wish to make any suggestions in regard to the club and its management by the committe, please let me have these either by e-mail or by pm on the forum. If any colleague who has not indicated previously that they will be attending and have dietary requirements, please also notify me in advance( by Thursday latest). Remember Kent Kite Flyers is an association of like minded people who enjoy flying kites, and therefore it is the "members" who make the decisions at the AGM in regard to 2018/9

I think I have chosen the AGM over the Regatta.

Just to confirm, any-one who wishes to have a fly prior or after the AGM, will be able to do so on the field next to the car park, no cars allowed on the field. The main gate is locked around 8pm
