As the first 12 kites seem to have lost attraction, I will open the next 12 for sale now (20.1.2018 ) and close it on the 11.2.2018. At 1800 Hours. Same rules as before, see Auction one for details. After the Auction closes, all un sold Kites will still be available to Purchase. Len.

I appreciate the necessity to release the photos and details in blocks but it is so difficult to budget without knowing what else there is to come!!! I do luckily have a fairly good knowledge of what Colin had and enjoyed my many conversations with him about his home made kites and the commercially produced ones he owned or aspired to acquire. You can always be sure that any he made were made with love and care and worthy of any of our kite bags. It would be great that once they are all sold, that we have a yearly Colin flying day?

I would like to echo Gerty's views regarding budgeting. I am finding it very difficult to decide where to spend my limited budget without knowing what else is coming up. I would be delighted to have the opportunity to see what other kites are in Colin's collection as I do want to be able to fly something of his but don't know when to place my bid. Mike

Agree with Gerty and Mike, which in line with my views already made in the 1-12 auction.

I agree. After all, if I go to an auction, I see all the items up for sale, and may even get the benefit of a catalogue. I can then decide which items I am interested in and where to allocate my hard earned. Why not make the full list available, but only auction a dozen at a time (or however many is practical)

However I realise the plight of those with limited means so I will Post pictures and details of ALL Kites.... BUT<Please do not start Bidding on Kites until they are Released.

Len, your work in arranging the auction is very much appreciated, as well as Janet collecting and initially storing the collection and Stephen Palmer's input as well.
