Just let every-one know that Kent Kite Flyers are welcome once again to fly at Capstone Park,Gillingham, there is no cost involved to the club as a previous manager had indicated. We would be allowed to park next to the brick building housing the toilets, which the new park manager has indicated would be open when we are there. There is a wish for the top field to be used more for activities which they are able to promote, rather than leaving just for tyhe dog walkers( who would still have access). They would like to be able to promote kite flying by KKF allowing the public to loan kites or bring along their own kites are adjustment or giving advice on how to fly kites and perhaps put on a day of tuition for two line/four line kites. I would have to give a week's notice of intended date so as to obtain the ok, just in case something is happening which prevents KKF members from flying on notified date.
Just a reminder that we also have flown Radnor Park Folkestone in the past, without any problems and there is a fairly new cafe opened on the edge of the park and public toilets.

Capstone Park are requesting dates when we would wish to use the top field, I would think that we are looking at possibly 3-4 dates from late March 2020 onwards, Not sure it would be suitable for using in winter, but we need to consider any events in which the club is involved/invited, and any other closeby events which members are likely to attend such as Brighton.
Any suggestions for dates would be welcomed.

How about a Spring fly-in there on March 29th (weather permitting), Towards the end of April perhaps 26th. Possibly a Date in May (might be difficult due to Streatham, possibly Collier St and Bank Holidays), or we end up in June when festivals seem to start to get in the way. Just our suggestions Mike

Assuming Capstone in its usual September time Mike suggestions seem to be a good idea. Would be nice to fly in the Medway area more than once a year
