I seem to remember that on the 3rd Sunday of the Month, the church does Cooked Breakfasts, but I could be just teasing. I was correct but did not take advantage of the offer. What a great day for flying kites, both sunny and windy, lots of nice kites getting an airing. Both our two new Simons came and flew and Matt who we haven't seen for a while came and flew some stunt kites.

Len, you are right it was a good after noon and a complete surprise in regard to the weather, as when Peter and I left the Isle of Thanet, there was no wind virtually all the way to our arrival at the gates of Milton Creek, and we were surprised to see kites in the sky. It was a well supported fly-in, by members, and Bill came along, with his wife Jenny, and flew two line trick kites. We had sun and a strong breeze, and stayed until about 5pm when the heat went out of the day as the Sun started to disappear from overhead.
How many Kent Kite Flyers does it take to put Malcolm's kite together ??
A thank you to all those assisted in deciding which spars went where, so I was able to give the kite a good fly in a wind which was slightly too strong for it. There had been some previous alterations to the set up at Brighton ( where I purchased it) and where it nearly hit a member oc the public ( should not have been standing in the descent path ) when it just dropped out of the sky.
