Here's a new single line zero wind kite from Prism, due to hit the shops in late April. The kite can be seen in this photo from John Chilese Along with Prism owner Mark Reed The kite has been designed in colloboration with Malaysian designer Ceewan, based on his Plutz kite, which can be seen in videos here. No price is fixed yet, but Kiteworld expect to stock it at around £70 As my birthday is at the end of April, guess what's going on my list

Two brand new single liners from Prism for 2012 The switch www.prismkites.com/products-sl-switch.php a single or twin line kite and the much talked about Zero G (on Gareths birthday list) www.prismkites.com/products-sl-zerog.phpMark Reed posted the following on the Prism Forum "Hi folks, Back in the office after our trade shows and the phones are abuzz with requests for info on what's new for 2012. Just finished updating the website and we're getting ready to drop new catalogs, etc. in the mail for our dealers. Hope you enjoy looking over the "official" info on the new stuff. Production is spooling up for the Switch and Zero-G and we've published a release date of April 20 to land them in stores. Sometime before then, when I find a little time, I plan to post some details for you about some of the design and engineering behind these fun new kites. With a toddler running around at home and a huge pile on my desk I won't likely have time to handle your questions on the forum directly, but I should be able to get you a good bit of detail to whet your appetites before launch day. It's pouring rain and blowing 40 here in the Rain City today. Hopefully some of you are enjoying a more hospitable climate for flying, and for the rest of us spring shouldn't be too far away. Smooth winds, and thanks as always for all your support and enthusiasm! -Mark PS. There's also a PDF of our new 2012 dealer catalog available for download on the site- enjoy! " So April 20th is the target day for availability for the Zero G - looking round the forums there could be quite a queue for this new kite. Mike

Owned/flown most Prism kites in my time, paid for all of them with my own money. Still reckon Mark Read is one of the best designers on the planet, and still willing to argue the point with young William if necessary

"The plan to have these in store by the 20th was close. A little optimistic though. That date has been pushed back 7 days. Stores should start receiving them by the 27th. Steve"
Hopefully wont be long now then
