This is a kite that never really made it and I'm not entirely sure why. Following on from the Tramontana trick kite and the baby tram, came the Tramontana 2001. Bigger than the original it was much more precise and was, occasionally, flown as a team kite, but it never really caught on. I'm not sure what the weapon of choice was in the early 2000s as I think the era of the North Shore Radical had come to an end and the Carl Robertshaw Fury hadn't been invented yet, so teh Tram 2001 could have filled the gap, but didn't. Offered for sale by auction it comes without lines or handles. Anyway, this is a very clean complete version of that kite. Again there is a reserve, so bid on my young apprentices. 6C - HQ Tramontana 2001 by Gareth Williams, on Flickr

Hmm Now yours. I can bring it along to a fly in or to the AGM, whichever works best for you. Please make payment to Janet.
